5 goals on 20 shots for Arizona. That's funny. So, does MT still have a job tomorrow?

At this point, I'd almost be insulted if they did fire him. More insulted. This season has taken any confidence I had in Bergevin and totally destroyed it, and I'm trying not to get disillusioned even further.

On that happy note, through 2:

My confidence in MB isn't destroyed. He's a patient GM. Slow to make adjustments and changes. He needs to change that behavior this summer. I will allow him this summer to make some corrections.

But yeah, MT should go immediately. The team is giving up on him.

Is that even possible?

Once Joe Schmo shuts us out in the third period they would.

I've also lost all confidence in Bergevin. How do you look at this situation and see no reason to make a change? Therrien's record over the past 2-3 months is one of the worst in recent NHL history. Plenty of coaches have been fired for less. The biggest problem however is that MB not only has to recognize Therrien needs to be fired, he also needs to realize that the Francophone-only hiring process is one of the root causes of the problem that also needs to be corrected. If Bergevin fires Therrien but then hires someone like Lefebvre, Hartley, Daigneault, Carbonneau, or so on to coach, we're no better off. To have any confidence in Bergevin and Molson, the situation requires

- a coaching change

- hiring the actual best person for the job (which likely involves hiring an Anglophone).

Sure, ask him to take French lessons, but don't eliminate candidates who are more proficient and better-suited to winning a Cup only because they fail to meet a self-imposed language criteria. It's silly, it's costing us, and no other GM prior to Bergevin has ever made this a public issue. This was a non-issue with past coaches like Irvin and to a lesser extent someone like Scotty Bowman. It was a non-issue for Bergevin's predecessor when he put Randy Cunneyworth in place. And by my evaluation, Pierre Gauthier has done more good for this team than Marc Bergevin has thus far. So yes, Bergevin needs to go too.

Doing his part to contribute to the tank.

Great leadership there. Captain material after all!
