kinot-1
Canadiens claimed forward Mike Brown on NHL waivers (from the San Jose Sharks). I guess we can all go about our business now, because the acquisition of the day has been made.
Guest
Hope he's a UFA after this season. Can't see any possible fit in this lineup next year for him.

Habberwacky
Perhaps toughening up the line up in case Price can play again. We wouldn't want anyone bugging Carey if he can play in a while.

Well, Carey will definitely have to do more work if Brown's on the ice.
Guest
Shall we start the "Brown for All Star Captain" campaign now??
Triganics
There was one shift last night where with the puck in the Montreal end, Brown left his wing spot to help out at center down low, shot from point, then jumped to other point spot forcing Mitchell out and opening up slot as McCarron jumped out to watch other point, I was amazed at this...running around with his head cut off. Might be able to bang and crash in offensive zone but defensive liablity. Love to have Prust back
Habs=stanleycup
'F Mike Brown, known for his grinding and enforcing abilities, scored a goal and added an assist to help the injury-depleted Canadiens defeat the Ducks 4-3 on Tuesday night at the Bell Centre. It was the second career multi-point game for Brown, who earned first star honors for his efforts. "We knew this was going to be a hard game to play," said Brown, who was picked up on waivers on trade deadline day. "We were never expected to be where we were in the third period so for us it was great to get the two points. I'm happy to be here, I'm happy to play in front of these fans. I've been in this building a lot playing against these guys, and it's nice to be on this side now."' http://www.globalpost.com/article/6750068/2016/03/23/montreal-canadiens-playerwatch
