Unequivocally one of the worst trades in NHL history. Shea Weber is trash compared to Subban, and he's old. Bergevin might as well Trade Carey Price for some worthless plugs now, because he's singlehandedly destroyed this team's chances of real contention.

On the bright side, Réjean Houle can cheer up a bit.

I guess Therrien wins

Does it get any more disturbingly true than this

i knew the second we didnt fire that clown that there were dark days ahead

good job bergevin you just alienated the entire fan base completely and shut our window on winning a cup

might as well trade price now

Molson is to blame here, as well. Does anyone think MB would have been able to make this deal without Molson's okay? I don't. This is - arguably - the worst trade in the team's history. Shea Weber will not get cheered here. The fans are going to boo him... The fans are going to hate this organization for this.

I really wasn't kidding. Price alone with this mess won't win anything, and after missing last season his value will never be higher than now. Weber is an afterthought, a helpful piece to get to the cap floor while we're rebuilding. Price, Pacioretty, Gallagher, and Galchenyuk might as well be on the table right now.

Yep, might as well call it a day now. We traded our franchise Dman for a guy who's on the decline and signed for the next 10 years.

I'm cancelling my NHL CenterIce or whatever it's called these days too, no point in following this gong show any longer.
