ramcharger440
this guy has all the talent in the world! he has gotten married and had kids since he was partying in Nashville, that changes a person. one year contract he has to put up or shut up for him and it is enough money that MT has no choice but to try him for real. All good points except for that last one. No guarantee MT uses this guy properly. He could just as easily be benched after the pre season. You have a very short window to get into MT's good books. Look how long and what circumstances it took to see Chucky finally get a shot. Radulov only has a year.
Noob616
Radulov will single handedly make me watch at least a dozen or so games this year. Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Radulov is super fun to imagine.

How can Radulov play with Pacioretty and Galchenyuk if he's in the pressbox for not grinding hard enough and Galchenyuk's playing on the third line? ramcharger440
most skilled forward we have had since Kovy by far! if Mt does not give him a real shot he will get fired. no way MB and Molson can allow the team to slide further and make it harder to sign players. beside i am sure they are sick of the snide comments on here. kinot-1
Antti Mäkinen @makinenantti now32 seconds ago Radulov is a good one for the #Habs I've seen him playing past years in KHL and I can assure,he's been the best all around F in the league. With the money they're paying him, I would think he will get some top line ice time or someone will get fired. I want to see what he brings, he has the ability to be a game changer. Truly hope this time it works.
Habberwacky
A few more goals in the line-up will help us survive some of the scoring slumps we've had in the past and having his former captain in the line-up won't hurt wwhen he has problems adjusting. I think Markov and Emelin might be feeling a couple of years younger and looking forward to this. If the kid Sergachev can break the line-up we should see some great hockey from our Russians
kinot-1
From Frankie Boo: “(Weber has) a lot of character, a good attitude and we all know the Canadiens missed some of that last year,” Bouillon said. “He has everything; I call him Mr. Hockey. If you’re looking for a good guy, a leader, that’s Shea Weber.” “When he scores a goal, he likes to show it,” Bouillon said. “He’s a showman, a true talent. Montreal has been looking for a top-six forward and he’s a top-six forward. The guy wants to come back to the NHL and it’s a good pickup for Montreal.” I wonder if Patches will ask Radulov to tone it down. Bold is mine. Habberwacky
I have read some articles tha think the Habs have done a great job this summer. I think Radulov unlike players like Semin or Vanek will be a little more consistent, plaay with a bit more of an edge and develop some good scoring chemistry. Patches had it with Vanek, but it became hardd to watch Vanek float around with the puck at times. With Shaw, Gallagher Radulov and Weber we may not be so much fun to pla against and get some teams off there game a little more.
kinot-1
From Today's Slapshot: "Over the past two seasons he played in 99 contests for CSKA, scoring 136 points in the process. According to Rob Vollman’s imperfect but valuable translation factors, Radulov would have scored around 119 points in the NHL across the same number of games." Habberwacky
Does Ovechkin know that? If the team is a little more exciting to watch that will be great. I'll be happy with anything over 65 points, as long as there are at least 5 highlight reel goals.
jedimaas
I have a feeling he's going to be the steal of the UFA season. Its just a shame we weakened our back-end because id be more excited about our forwards if we went into last year with the same roster + Radulov. ChiLla
It all comes down to how MT is going to use him I think. If he gets the Vanek/Briere/Semin/Parenteau/Sekac treatment, he might as well stay in the KHL.
