Guest
No risk and very small cap hit if you deduct Condon's numbers to the total.

Habberwacky
We sure could of used him last year. I have always been a Montoya fan and love this signing. Hopefully takes some of the load off Carey this year. We need to protect that knee and with Montoya and Weber I think Carey's in much better hands. Montoya definitely gives us more experience and is an upgrade over Condon in the back-up role, albeit for a slightly greater cap hit as well. I'm not sure the job is Montoya's yet though - if Condon surplanted Tokarski last year, I think MT and MB are very much open to letting Montoya, Condon, Lindgren, and Fucale earn the role at camp. Will be interesting to see who takes charge of the job.
habs_93
His career 5-on-5 save percentage prior to last season was .914, and he's 31. This is a low risk move, but no one should be expecting too much.
