ChiLla
Wow, quite impressive. Too bad he's never had a real shot at the Cup.

HabsRuleForever
Well this sucks. He's stopped skating because his injury has stopped getting better.

The info we're getting is weird. They say he stopped progressing so they wanted to stop putting stress on his injury but then they turn around & say its minor. Very weird. On the positive side, he should be much better rested by the POs than he would have been without the injury.

PuckPundit
A few years ago when Markov signed his extension, I remembered people saying the final year would be ugly. Has this come to pass, now that Markov is indefinitely out?

H_T_L
I'd be inclined to go for it as long as it didn't contain a NMC.

The problem with a NMC is that it forces us to protect him in the expansion draft. If he insists on it, then i would pass.
maas_art
It would have to be a pretty sizable discount because his ideal role would be as a 3rd pairing guy with good PP minutes. 12 - 15 minutes a game at most. As mentioned I would not protect him in the ED so this would have to be a deal he signed after that time.
tony5775
Hope they sign him, would be great if he played his entire career in Montreal Good chance he and DD will play Tuesday against the Sabres. We missed him more then anyone thought we would.
