He's quietly having a really solid playoffs. Has been over-shadowed by how well Weber has played, but Petry has been extremely effective playing with Benn on the 2nd pairing, and we suddenly have a really solid top 4 right now. I'd argue that with Weber as our #1, Petry as #2, Markov playing well as a #3, Benn filling in as the #4 admirably, Beaulieu as a #5, and Davidson or Emelin as a #6, we finally have the right players in the right seats.

Agreed on all accounts. Our d finally looks very good and Julien seems to be able to actually assess them and put them in the proper slots, unlike his predecessor.  Even little things like swapping in Benn or Beaulieu from time to time with Weber to give Markov an extra shift off is something that i dont think ever occurred to good ol MT.
