FirstStar
I don't support the Rio games, not with all the scandals and garbage leading up to it. But I do support our Canadian athletes. Way to go swim team!!! We have a 16 year old phenom who already has 2 medals at the Rio games. Our volleyball team swept the US team 3-0. And to those who still haven't competed, we stand behind you. Go Canada!!!!!!
Guest
Unfortunately it seems that scandals and the Olympics go hand in hand. Watched the men's field hockey today. Not the most interesting spectacle. Anybody see that wicked wipeout in cycling yesterday? Ouch bigtime. I did watch our boys win big vs the US in volleyball yesterday. That was a pretty intense battle.

kinot-1
Ya know,,, I cannot understand why the "judging" events in the Olympics do not have "slo-mo" replay. I don't get why they don't. They have to judge in the "now" moment. I'm referring to the diving,,, the floor exercises,,,,etc. How in the heck can a judge see everything that goes on in an instant? Guest
Been involved in my sport for 40 plus years now and i still shake my head at the judging. Politics are still strong in sports and i'm afraid always will be.

Women's basketball was pretty disappointing. So many missed chances.
