The truth is that we outplayed the Sens tonight, as we usually do against that bunch of rag-tag goons. Just unfortunate that we only have one line that can score reliably, and our slumping veteran forwards combined with the fact that we played only 4 defencemen most of the night really weighed us down. I continue to see very little reason to have Joel Hanley on the team if he's going to be played for 10 minutes a game or less. May as well have Pateryn in there or call up Barberio instead.

Goaltending would help as well. 4 goals on 23 shots?

True...perhaps. For some reason Carey has had a hard time against those sleazy Sens. No excuses for him but after all his goals against the other teams is a low 2.0 or lower. But against the Sens..3.12 or thereabouts... go figure.
