How could they play so tight the other night, in the second game of a back-to-back no less, then come out here flat, slow and sloppy? They are all going back over trying to remember if they ever pissed PK off and waiting for the mid-air somersault hit to come.

I think they`re still dizzied, dazzled and distracted from the pre-game-PK celebrations. Once CJ settles them down they`ll get going.
BigTed3
Not a great period from the Habs. Once again, pretty close to zero offence generated. And of course, a dumb penalty from Andrew Shaw with a gratuitous shot well away from the play. This game is pretty much a microcosm emphasizing all the bad moves Marc Bergevin has made in the past year.

Netcase2
Shaw should warm the bench the rest of the game. That penalty probably will cost us the game.
BigTed3
Subban has an assist and is rocking an 80% Corsi. Shea Weber? 15% and second worst on the Habs behind Andrei Markov's 14%.

When you've responded to your chances to redeem yourself int he past by taking 18 other costly penalties, then you simply don't deserve any more chances. Shaw has taken so many awful penalties this year... away from the play, O zone, retaliation, unnecessary cheapshots, etc. There's nothing redeeming about this player. He's cut from the same clothe as Raffi Torres, Brad Marchand, Matt Cooke, Darcy Tucker, Nzaem Kadri, etc... guys who have skill but waste it because they make boneheaded dirty plays over and over. I don't need this type of player in the NHL.
