I really like him as a player and i am sure he will do ok wherever they play him.

Like him too... but it must puzzle Galchenyuk, that after one good year, he has a defacto top six spot. BTW I'm not convinced he has had such a great t-camp to-date and is deserving of his current spot. Galchenyuk was not given much of a sniff there... I know I'm puzzled

I am not i love Chucky's talent but he has put zero effort in during training camp or really at the end of last season he even almost got his head torn of making a blind pass to the other team last night. he looks like he wants a trade and frankly he may deserve one with all the shuffling he has had to put up with but at the end of the day he is not helping himself either.

If we're referring to Galchenyuk I totally agree.

I was impressed with what I saw of his performance last night. I wonder if the transition to first line RW might be permanent?

To me both Lehkonen and Gallagher are #2RW.  We dont have anyone better so one of them will play up the lineup.  Too bad we dont have Radu but it is what it is.

Right but powerplays are a completely different beast.  I mean by that token we should try Drouin at #1LD next to Weber since he plays the point on the PP.

Sarcastic a bit? You have to believe in the player a little more than that... and so does management.

Not at all. PP time is a totally different thing than 5 on 5.    I agreed that he could be tried there but considering they arent even trying him in positions he's actually had success in (C and top 6 LW) I think its unlikely they will try him in a position he hasnt played outside of the man-advantage.

For now, Gallagher and Lehkonen, rightly or wrongly, are the 2 guys I can see Julien using at #1 RW.
