electron58
It took Josh Brook nearly eight months to recover from knee surgery. And after finally making his regular-season debut with the Laval Rocket last Saturday, things have been put on hold again — albeit only temporarily. Because of the covid situation mentioned in the previous post.

Other than Cayden Primeau, not a whole lot of "Hab Prospects" shining down here. Laval moves on to round 3. Opponent to be determined. electron58
Laval forward Lukas Vejdemo had hamstring surgery earlier this month. He will be out of the lineup for up to seven months as he recovers from this operation. That is obviously bad news for the Swedish centre, and the fact it happened so close to the playoffs is just salt in an already deep wound. I'm guessing that likely spells the end of Vejdemo's time in the Montreal organization. Wish him the best in his recovery!

We've had a few guys come through the system who might've been bottom six players. Jake Evans seems to be the one taking his chance though. He really earned his extension here, IMO. electron58
Riley Kidney’s season has come to an end at the hands of the Charlottetown Islanders. The silver lining for Habs fans is that they may soon get a chance to see him play anyways, as he will join the Laval Rocket on their playoff run. There is no word yet on if or where he will slot into the lineup, but his playmaking abilities should make him a useful ringer for Laval at some point.
