Habberwacky Posted September 23, 2017 Report Share Posted September 23, 2017 I think Mete may get rewarded if he keeps playing well and get a couple of games before going back to junior. Davidson should be there opening day. Gelinas and Jerabek should be 7 th and 8th. with Gelinas starting the season here. Personally, I fee Alzner, Petry, Weber, Schlemko, and Benn are the 5 locks, but it's unclear whether Schlemko will start the year healthy or not. I think Davidson is the closest thing after that, followed by Streit, despite his pre-season and age. I think they will keep Morrow around and if Schlemko isn't able to go, I think they might start with Mete. I'd love to see Gelinas make the squad, but I'm not sure Habs will find a way to make the number of contracts work and sign him. So...
