Blackhawks @ Canadiens

TV: NBCSN, TSN2, RDS, CSN-CH

7:30pm

Amid the Olé's, "Go Habs Go!" and perhaps a few "Carey" chants, the Canadiens' homecoming is on the agenda on Tuesday night, and what better way to celebrate it than with a visit from Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Habs are returning to the Bell Centre after playing their first three games on the road, having picked up a win in extra time in Buffalo on Thursday before falling to the Capitals and Rangers over the weekend.

Brendan Gallagher, Max Pacioretty and Phillip Danault picked up their first markers of the 2017-18 campaign on the road trip, while Jonathan Drouin scored the shootout winner against the Sabres.

Carey Price has started all three games in the Montreal net and is expected to man the crease again for the hosts.

Last season, the Habs compiled a 0-2-0 record against Chicago. The Hawks stopped Montreal's four-game winning streak last November with a 3-2 win at home and defeated Montreal 4-2 at the Bell Centre in March.

Joel Quenneville's troops will be playing their second game in as many nights. On Monday in Toronto, they squandered 2-0 and 3-1 leads before dropping a 4-3 decision in overtime to the Maple Leafs. Jan Rutta, Jonathan Toews and Richard Panik scored for the visitors, while Anton Forsberg made 32 saves.

The fact that Forsberg started the night before practically assures that Montreal native Corey Crawford will be in net for the Blackhawks on Tuesday at the Bell Centre.

Three Hawks players have already collected six points in three games - Brandon Saad (4G, 2A), Patrick Kane (2G, 4A) and Ryan Hartman (1G, 5A).

Prior to the start of the game, Ford and the Canadiens invite fans to join in the festivities outside the Bell Centre starting at 3:45 p.m., festivities which will culminate with a player salute between 4:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on TV on TSN2, RDS, NBCSN and NBCSCH, and on the radio on TSN 690 and 98,5 fm.
