So optimistic!  5-2 Kings.

i dont bet against my team.

That said, its a huge game. In some ways the most important of the young season. We win this, we get confidence & momentum.  We showed we could compete with them for 20 -30 minutes last time we played.  They just need to keep it up (and hope Carey is back to form) and i think we'll be ok.

I said in the MMW thread that I thought the Habs would beat the Cats and Kings. This will be a closer game, but I think the offence will be working better after breaking through last time out. It'll be harder for the D tonight, but I'll say 4-3 Habs. I'm liking the chances of seeing goals from Hudon and Byron.

Time to get realistic.  Florida is a team only one notch higher than the last-place Canadiens, and even that game looked doubtful for a while.  The Kings, on the other hand, are on a whole different level.  They're a first-place team, and playing like one.  I fully expect another letdown from the Habs, who prove once again that they just can't score, and for this game to be over in the first ten minutes.  But some good could come of it.....more fans will stay home.

You forgot to pump the tires of your Knights. I'm disappointed.

You ain't seen disappointment 'till you watch the Habs play the Kings tonight.

Seriously, the Vegas Golden Knights are only one point behind the Kings for first place in the Pacific Division, and only one point behind both L.A. and St. Louis (a team they've already beaten) for first place in the Western Conference.  And after tonight, Vegas will have two games in hand on each of them.

But as much as I'd like to see the Kings lose tonight, I wouldn't bet the lunch money on it.  Didn't the Kings already stomp Montreal just a few days ago?
