Big Matchup

CAREY PRICE VS LAURENT BROSSOIT

OK, that’s not a fair fight. Price is the best goalie in the world and Brossoit is a backup still trying to get his feet wet. But, you don’t get to pick your battles and Brossoit has to come up with some saves. He was good against Philadelphia but still has a propensity to let in a goal that doesn’t look good — Jack Eichel’s 40-footer in Buffalo, Sam Bennett and Johnny Gaudreau in Calgary, Dale Weise in the Philly game. Price has bounced back after an awful start to the season and a lower-body injury.

Did Mete get hurt or is CJ just not playing him?

CJ is not playing him. I'm fine with Jerabek being in there, and there's not question about Weber and Petry deserving their spots. But Karl Alzner deserves to sit or at least be in some sort of rotation... Mete and Jerabek are way better than him.
