EDMONTON -- The Habs ring in the holiday break with a quick stop in Edmonton on Saturday.

Coming off a 3-2 win in Calgary on Friday, the Canadiens will be looking to complete a perfect sweep of western Canada when they hit the ice for a second time in less than 24 hours at Rogers Place.

Byron Froese, Nicolas Deslauriers and Brendan Gallagher were the Canadiens goal scorers in Cowtown, while Carey Price made 21 saves for his 11th win of the season.

Claude Julien has not yet confirmed Saturday's goaltender in Edmonton, but with two games in two nights and Price having started the last 12-straight, Antti Niemi could get his first start since Nov. 22.

In that game from just over a month ago, the 34-year-old stopped 31 of 33 shots he faced in a 3-2 shootout loss in Nashville. Niemi also saw action on Nov. 9, playing in relief of Price against Saturday's same Oilers at the Bell Centre, making 24 saves on 26 shots.

The Habs will be looking for avenge that 6-2 loss against Edmonton from two weeks ago, when Connor McDavid, Milan Lucic, Ryan Strome and Jujhar Khaira each picked up two points in the decision.

The Oilers meanwhile are currently enjoying a three-game win streak, having won four of their last five. On Thursday against St. Louis, Edmonton scored twice with less than four minutes to go to seal a 3-2 win.

Glad  to see Price get the start. I usually go to this one but will enjoy it from home. We are due for a little payback tonight.

Sry to burst your bubble, but Niemi gets the start, as per TSN.
