Bolts are playing their best hockey of the season right now.

Vasy with 3 shutouts in the last four games and all four lines are contributing at both ends.

This will be Sergachev’s first game at the Bell Centre since the Canadiens traded him to Tampa last summer in exchange for Jonathan Drouin. Sergachev has 8-17-25 totals and is plus-17 in 39 games, while Drouin has 5-13-18 totals and is minus-16 in 35 games.

The Canadiens (16-20-4) rank 28th out of 31 teams in the overall NHL standings and have lost their last five games while scoring only four goals. The Lightning (29-8-2) have the NHL’s best record, rank No. 1 in offence, No. 2 in defence and No. 2 on the power play. The Canadiens rank 26th in penalty-killing.

The Canadiens also sent a conditional second-round pick to Tampa in the deal, while receiving a conditional sixth-round pick. The condition on the picks is that if Sergachev plays 40 games this season, there are no picks exchanged. Sergachev will play his 40th game Thursday night.

Canadiens coach Claude Julien was scheduled to meet with the media at the Bell Centre at 5:15 p.m. to announce any possible lineup changes. Alex Galchenyuk missed Wednesday’s practice because of a stomach flu.
