Oh man, that is one ugly lineup.

No way! With 2 Shaws, it's MB's dream line-up.

O.K., make that: Marc "Two Shaws" Bergevin. (Monty Python reference)

True but imagine if we turn some of the injured into assets.

its not a bad starting point at all.

Galchenyuk, Drouin, Gallagher, Scherbak, Danault, Lehkonen, Byron, Mete, Juulsen, Petry, Price, Lingren - thats a good solid core.

And while new guys like Reilly, Valiev and Rychel may not be gamebreakers i do think they are upgrades on guys like Morrow and Benn.

The real question is if MB (or hopefully a new guy!!) will have what it takes to fix the missing pieces. Trade Weber, Trade Patches, maybe trade Price. Bring in good young assets. Fill those holes finally and maybe, just maybe you get lucky with a guy like Tavares or a high draft pick like Dahlin or Zadina, or Boqvist or Svechnikov or Tkachuk.

Hall has av 25 games point streak going.

Too bad we didnt trade PK ot Edmonton for Hall + .    Rumor was that Chiarelli was big on PK and made several pitches (including one that had Draisatl AND hall in it. :(

In fairness though, has either of those guys raced a horse??

Not sure if anyone else saw on the NJ goal, but Lindgren complained to ref right away about interference... saw the replays, and I think there's a Devil player who bumps Lindgren's glove hand as the point player winds up the shot. So technically that goal could have been called back. No challenge from Julien, who embraces the spirit of the tank.

I think the interference was iffy at best. In last nights Buff/To game there was a worse interference but the goal stood.

Doesn't mean this one would have... we've seen Price dragged into corner from his crease and goalies hit on the head and nothing, and we've seen light taps on a stick or skate called back. It's terribly inconsistent, like everything else in this league.
