Brad Marchand with another dirty hit today... clotheslined Anthony Duclair while leaving his feet to do so. Duclair falls backwards, bends his knee the wrong way, and has to be helped off ice without being able to weight-bear. Obviously the injury was a bit of a freak, but Marchand leaving his feet to make head contact wasn't. That little dirtbag better get suspended again.

Doubt if that happens. He got 2 for interference.

Lots of players have been suspended for "interference in recent years"... the NHL places a big onus on whether the play resulted in injury. In this case, Marchand's hit is late, it's high, and he leaves his feet. Even if the contact is not violent and it's not a head injury, it's a 3x illegal hit that causes injury. And the guy has a long history of dirty hits, so I give him zero benefit of the doubt for what he did.
