I really wonder if they're prepping Hudon-Peca-Lehkonen as a line.

The big question for me is this though: the better JK plays, the bigger the question of where he would fit in the line-up. If he stays, he's absolutely 100% got to be a center and he's got to be in the top 9, ideally in the top 6. So either Domi's moving back to wing or else Danault's sliding down to a "3rd line" and one of Peca or Plekanec is being bumped out of the line-up. And frankly, if we're judging that on merit, Plekanec should be the guy getting the boot.

That's a tough call ... if it comes down to Peca or Plekenec, I'd take Pleks every day .. Peca is unproven at the NHL level and if we're rolliing with Domi, Danault, Kotkaniemi as our C's then Pleks is our 4th line guy and Penalty Killer.   I'm not sure what "merit" you think Peca has ... what is, 23 career NHL games vs close to 1000 for Pleks?

Been thinking the same thing. Hudon-Peca-Lehks is a nice line - could be a really nice balanced top 9 (albeit without a true #1 line unless Kotkaniemi makes some big strides)
