The Game

The Pittsburgh Penguins will look to start their season with a second straight home win when they face the Montreal Canadiens at PPG Paints Arena on Saturday.

Despite winning 7-6 in overtime against the Washington Capitals on Thursday, Pittsburgh wasn't satisfied with its 16 turnovers. Following that game, coach Mike Sullivan stressed the importance of the Penguins playing cleaner against the Canadiens, who lost 3-2 in overtime to the Toronto Maple Leafs in their season opener Wednesday.

Penguins goalie Matt Murray will try to rebound from allowing six goals on 36 shots. He will play opposite Canadiens goalie Carey Price, who allowed three goals on 26 shots.

Montreal gave up five goals in each of its three losses to Pittsburgh last season. Price started one of the three, where he stopped 34 of 39 shots in a 5-3 loss on March 21.

Players to watch

Canadiens forward Max Domi, who has two points (one goal, one assist) in five games against the Penguins, had two assists Wednesday.

Penguins forward Jake Guentzel scored twice against the Capitals on Thursday. Including the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs, he has 23 points (12 goals, 11 assists) in his past 13 games.

They said it

"[The Penguins are] a team with a very good power play and a lot of skilled offensive guys that can hurt you. It doesn't matter who you're on the ice against." -- Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher

Love your GDT, Clues :) .

Unfortunately, we have Bob Cole calling the game. :(

Thanks, kinot! I would have had it up sooner, but apple and pumpkin picking took longer than I expected.

Ahhh Bob Cole. I have not missed him.
