H_T_L Posted March 5, 2019 Report Share Posted March 5, 2019 I'm leaning towards Columbus. They loaded up at the deadline and so far doesn't seem to be helping them. Their schedule seems to be the toughest with the Pens twice, Islanders twice, Bruins X3, Calgary, Canes and us. If they can sweep one of the Pens or Islanders that changes things drastically. Panarin and Brobrovski both want out according to the reports. I don't see Duchene staying permanently in Columbus especially if those other 2 leave cause he just went through a failed rebuild with the Sens. If all three leave then others will follow until they are left with the same thing that Ottawa was left with this year. I feel like columbus is the odd team out too. I know they theoretically should be better but so far the added talent has not seemed to gel. That said, I still wonder about Carolina's streak running out at some point, and our own schedule is the toughest to finish out the year at the end.
