habs_93
Tonight, it's our Habs versus the third worst team in the league, the Los Angeles Kings I might even get to stay up for this one! Is tonight the night we get the playoff push back on track? GO HABS GO!
jennifer_rocket
I won't be watching this one. I'm on Newfoundland time... which is 4 1/2 hours ahead of the Pacific timezone. Go Habs!

H_T_L
CJ made one notable line change at practice on Monday, placing Paul Byron on a line with Max Domi and Andrew Shaw, while Jonathan Drouin was paired with Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Joel Armia. We'll likely see if that switch remains intact when the Canadiens hit the ice for Tuesday's morning skate in El Segundo at 1:45 p.m. ET.

I really think we need to give the kid some talent on his wings. Byron is great but he's a garage goal specialist, he's never jived well next to JK. Lines at practice were: Tatar - Danault - Gallagher Byron - Domi - Shaw Drouin - Kotkaniemi - Armia Lehkonen - Thompson - Weise Extras: Hudon - Deslauriers - Peca - Weal Mete - Weber Benn - Petry Kulak - Folin Extra: Reilly Not sure why Benn is playing in the top 4 still. He's been brutal every time we've had him higher than 3rd pair. I know they want Folin in (and he looked good) but surely Kulak or Reilly next to Petry makes more sense? kinot-2
Claude Julien says Jesperi Kotkaniemi seems fatigued and less efficient of late. Scratching him vs. LA Kings.

I suppose in the end it will be good if he's better rested for the playoffs... but, will we make it there if he doesnt play?

BigTed3
Yes, Weal in for JK... not sure I see signs of fatigue. He's been just as good in the 2nd half and far from being our worst forward. Drouin has been the guy playing lazy-looking hockey. Lehkonen has struggled to finish. Weise has been as negligible asset. There were other guys who probably could have come out first, and if JK is tired, wouldn't the upcoming B2B have made more sense as a game to sit? Kings are low in the standings, so today is the day you mess with your lineup and still think you can win regardless.

kinot-2
The Kings are 1-6-3 in their last 10. It would be pathetic if we lost tonight.

H_T_L
Really need these two points to keep pace tonight. Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong, with the exception of the Carolina game,,, yet they still got the loser point.

Ideally we come home with 4 of 6 points (or more). Lose all 3 and we're in deep do do.
