kinot-2
Canadians sign defenceman Kulak to three-year contract through 2021-22. It carries an average annual value of $1.85 million. Kulak, 25, appeared in 57 games for the Canadiens last season and set career highs in goals (six), assists (11), points (17), and differential (plus-12). BigTed3
Good signing. Reasonable cap hit and not too long a term for a depth guy (I'm okay with 3 years for a guy in his mid-20's, not for a 30+ year-old depth guy). It theoretically should be his job to lose for the 3rd-pairing LHD spot, and he and Juulsen would be a decent bottom pairing. Just have to hope they move on from Benn and add a 1st-pairing guy to put everyone in the right spot.
ChiLla
Not bad MB, looks like he's still really good at low-balling his players I thought Kulak would easily get north of 2M per season for sure.
jennifer_rocket
We've also resigned Xavier Ouellet to a one-year, two-way contract. I'm guessing he'll captain the Laval Rocket next season.
