Even better deal than Armia. Good work.

It’s a bargain. Neither less. Neither further. The number of years is short tho... But it’s little bit comprehensive due the Lehkonen’s side. Like on their proper consideration. If he wants to increase it, he surely knows what to do...

Another good contract.

Everything is good on this 19/07/11.

Few weeks left to make a decision on our only remaining RFA. That one should be interesting.

Not surprised that this deal is similar to Armia's. With the kids knocking on the door it makes sense not to tie our hands when the big decisions need to be made down the road.

I feel like its probably going to arbitration because the sides sound very far apart.  That likely will mean the end of Hudon (trade possibly) because i suspect the things they say about him in their report will not be flattering. They usually arent in arbitration hearings.

They likely qualified him at League minimum on a 2 way deal. Unless they move him as part of a deal i can see them letting him walk. Sure don't see a spot for him on this roster.

Yeah I believe that was the big issue from Hudon's camp - the team wanted a 2 way deal, he wanted 1, which, if they really had any plans for him, they would have done. It has no impact on the cap, just means if he's sent to Laval he doesnt make a comparatively tiny salary.

Its sad because I feel like he's still a potentially good NHL player.  He isnt going to ever be an impact player but a mid-tier guy? Why not.  Just dont understand what happened between the 2017-18  and 2018-19 seasons that made them sour on him so much.

I think if he get resigned the old Hudon comes back and he plays in the top 9 somewhere or maybe it's wishful thinking LOL

I really like Lehkonen that being said i want to see him improve around the net this year he has it all except finish.... really though he should be able to be a solid 20 goal player with his skill set.

I think reaching 20 goals and 40+ points would be a decent output this season.

That's my only concern about Lehkonen. Since his rookie season, there's a huge regression on that aspect. He knows it. It's not too late to rectify this.

Looks like Artturi's PDO and shooting percentage were quite high in his rookie season (100.7 and 11.4) and then regressed a lot in seasons two (96.5 and 7.3) and three (99.9 and 6.3). 7.3 and 6.3 seem particularly bad as a shooting percentage. I believe the league average is somewhere around 9. I'm hoping he can improve and score 20 this season.
