This is the NHL , there are no "gimmie" or easy games. A hot goalie bad bounces a couple defensive break downs , and with the salary cap the difference between the very top teams and the bottom aren't really that far apart anymore. Play a full 60 minutes and play solid defensively and hope for the best. "Will over skill".
H_T_L
Not sure about Peca's status for tonight's game. We could see another callup from Laval.

kinot-2
Anders Nilsson will get the start for the Senators. He's 8-8-1 with a 3.03 GAA and a .913 SP, but has a career 0-2 record against the Habs.

My Bold predicition is that Poehling is now ready & never plays another game in the AHL.

The worst part is how inconsistent the "referring " has gotten. It has to be really hard as a player and coach on any given night to know what's going to be called or not! tony5775
If Cayden Primeau is in net would be great to see him get his first victory. With many many more to come. Domi gets two goals to lead the attack.

A little extra size with Suzuki and you'd have a right and left hand center for draws if needed. Otherwise I'm good with these lines. Also thanks for the info! The team seems to try to do to much at home and with the kid in net may pay attention to detail defensively a little more. Love to see him have his first win at the Bell Center! I think given how Poehling has performed in Laval and the 4 game stint earlier, management isn't sold on him right now.

Agreed, he's been very good the last few games in Laval. I think he was a bit surprised to be starting in Laval but once he realized he had a bit of work to do & started to work on the things Bouchard wanted him to, he's been doing much better. I expect a strong game from him. I sort of understand putting him on the 4th line to start. could easily see him up higher if Julien shortens the bench to 3 lines.
