will be interesting to see how our third pairing does they are going to be a heavy hitting pair for sure. our D has put up some good offensive #'s this year the one knock i had was we could not hold a lead with what we had the pairings we have now should help with that. now if our forwards can score a few goals who knows? all of this assumes Carey is interested tonight!

Pretty sure he is. Haven't read differently.

He's with the team but won't play tonight.

He's got to pass his physical first. Depends how many old man burpies he can do.

come on guy's he is not that bad! i bet he will get a few points. really he is just filler until we get some guy's back he may be good for helping out some of the young guns you never know it seems he is good in the room and guy's seem to really like him. if we can get 20-30 games out of him then fine even MB is not trying to sell him as a big saviour or anything.

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm just sour on MB making these bargain bin moves every year hoping one of them sticks once in a blue moon. Maybe he should be focusing on an actual hockey trade rather then this piddling around like he does every year. Getting sick of it. I can see him adding one or two more retreads from now to the trade deadline.

LOL! i am sick of the trade thing, i like that he wants to protect our prospects and i am all for that but at the end of the day you have to give some to get some and that scares me with this guy! imagine if we had Sergachev the last couple of years we would be in much better shape down the left side and we would not have had to sign so many plugs! how can a good GM  give up the entire left side of his D in one offseason? i get frustrated by CJ sometimes but he really has not had a complete team of NHL players since he got here so i can see why he makes some of the choices he makes to play vets he is trying to win now to keep his job.
