TONITE, OUR HABS VISIT THE MOTOR CITY TO TAKE ON THE DEAD THINGS.

Tue, Jan 7  7:30 PM ET  Montreal vs Detroit  FS-D, TSN2, RDS, TSN 690 Radio.

. The Red Wings are on a two-game losing streak and are 2-8-0 in their last 10 games, Detroit ranks last in the league in both offence and defence.

The Detroit roster is the second-oldest in the NHL behind Nashville, with nine players 30 or older. There are only 26 players in the league 35 or over and four of them are playing in Detroit. Tyler Bertuzzi is the Wings’ leading scorer with 15 goals and 31 points, while Longueuil native Anthony Mantha has 12 goals and Dylan Larkin has 10. They are all under the age of 25.

Bernier is expected to start Tuesday vs. the Canadiens.

Bernier allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Red Wings 4-1 loss in Dallas last Friday. Jimmy Howard started Sunday but they'll come back to Bernier on Howard bobblehead night when they host the Canadiens. Montreal played last night and Bernier is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .962 SV% in two starts against them this season, so he could be an option tonight if you're desperate.

Grr

Good.

Yeah some good some bad, Kulak needs to play from time to time and i don't think it is a bad thing to give Cale a break i have a feeling he is going to get loads of ice to finish the season. and lets not forget Kulak can be very good when he is on.
