kinot-2
Being Habs fans, I'm sure most if not all of us have memorabilia that we cherish the most. Maybe you have a signed hockey stick or tickets to a game, or something else. I have quite a lot of "stuff" that I have been given or that I bought. I have 3 items that I am happy to have. These include a signed Patrick Roy jersey(with authentication) a plaque signed by Jacques Demers, and a card signed by Maurice Richard. The Roy jersey, I stumbled up-on by accident. A friend and I were going for a drive (not sure where), and saw a sign that there was an auction just down the street. We went in and looked around and there were 2 jerseys for auction, one a T.O. jersey (I think it was Gilmour), and the Roy jersey. I hated bidding against another Hab fan but we're fierce competitors . The signed Jacques Demers plaque I received from another forum member, FH10. He messaged me that Demers was doing a signing where he lived and asked if I wanted anything. Bottom line, he sent me the signed plaque. The card that the Rocket signed, was thanks to my youngest daughter, who got two tickets to a Habs alumni game here in London. There was an announcement that he would be signing cards in the level. She went up and got in line, and I joined her later just before she got to the head of the line. Voila, signed card.
CaptWelly
I have two items. The first my older sister went to Sault Ontario (we lived in Sault Mi.) and stood in line to get Ken Drydens book the game and had him autograph it to me. The second is a plaque that has both Henri and Maurice Richard in that is signed by both that my younger brother (another Habs fan) bought and gave me! H_T_L
I have a ton of stuff that I love, but I suppose if I had to pick something, it would be my signed 8 X 10 autographed photos that I got in person from Richard Beliveau and Cournoyer. I also have a Dryden and Lafleur that I purchased. The 5 photos are framed and hang in my Habs room. I also have an extensive rookie card collection of Hab players dating back from the mid fifties through to the nineties ( also framed). Some of the big guns in that collection are rookie cards of Beliveau, Dryden, Lemaire Shutt, Cournoyer, Gainey Savard Lafleur Roy,,,, just to name a few. WTG I bought the pic of Beliveau and Henri Richard, but the LaFleur pic I stumbled upon when I bought a motorcycle from a guy, and asked about it. He said that if I wanted it, I could have it. Here's my problem. I have no heirs who are Habs fans. I had a plan 2 years ago, but I fear that it's falling thru. Not sure what to do now. I'll look after it for you. I've told my girls I would leave it to the 1st grandchild born who was a Hab fan. Both tell me they don't plan on having children so i'm into nephews and close friends now. One of my daughter's significant seconds is a Leaf fan looking to convert after he's seen my collection. I told him to dream on.
MALMACIAN_CRUNCH
Man, some cool stuff in here for sure. That Forum seat is off the charts! Back when I was a kid, me and my pops got pretty into hockey cards. Just recently he decided that it was time for me to carry the torch. A lot of really cool cards in there, these are my most fantastic Habs memorabilia. I don’t believe the Richer is a rookie card, and though the Muller is, he’s in the wrong uniform But cool non the less.
claremont
Signed in Blue Marker on the hat - Maurice Richard and Jean Beliveau signed framed picture - rocket, beliveau lafleur holding up the Stanley cup in their uniforms at Centre ice Both are more valuable than an inherited fully signed in ink 61-62 ccm leaf stick by the entire leaf team (Horton, Bower, Stanley etc.) - trivia question who was the Team Canada goalie that played on that team? it was Gerry Cheevers rookie year - traded to Bruins right after

I got some real gems, great condition, but man, tough to get a good centering. And the Richer is eh? I thought it was, but I looked closer and there is three seasons worth of stats on the back so it really made me question. Good to know!

I collect rookie cards from players who's first card was in a Hab jersey. That's why I don't have Muller's. I have all of them from 1958 until the 90,s. I also have a few before that date but still missing a few. They need to be in great condition for me to be interested. I had a few chances at the 52 Rocket card but they were pretty rough. Anything decent is a small fortune. Still looking for his brother and Plante.
