Did you see Tinordi take on Wilson? I thought he handled himself very well. He's also still in the NHL, no thanks to the Habs regime.

Washington Capitals forward  has been suspended seven games for boarding Boston Bruins defenceman  Friday night, NHL Player Safety announced Saturday.

The incident occurred when Carlo went to play the puck in the corner facing the boards. As he turned toward centre ice, Wilson came in and drove Carlo's head into the boards. Carlo collapsed to the ice and needed help getting to the bench.

Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy later said Carlo was taken to the hospital in an ambulance but did not say specifically what type of injury he was dealing with. Wilson was not assessed a penalty on the play but was later involved in a fight with .

“Predatory hit from someone that’s done that before,” Cassidy told reporters after the game. “I do not understand why there wasn’t a penalty called on the ice. They huddled up, but I did not get an explanation why. It was out of our hands after that. We’ve just got to play hockey. Try to stick together as a team, play the right way.

I guess it's not just against us.  Pathetic.

NBC owns several more stations than ESPN so it made it nice during the playoffs every game was shown and at normal times. I imagine with ESPN there will be a lot of early and real late games because they have so many fewer channels as options and a much broader amount of other sports to share the space with. In the past when ESPN did the games the coverage was terrible other than Bill Clement. Hopefully this time will be okay.

Yeah.  I didn't know if it was good or bad. I imagine other networks will piggy back off them for a price.

Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask will not dress for Thursday night’s game against the New York Rangers due to a lingering injury. Head coach Bruce Cassidy provided the update on his netminder’s status during the Bruins morning press conference.
