OK, this will be a challenge for most of us, but who's with me on watching it?

Can we please beat these guys in regulation!

Chi_La can watch it while eating breakfast. :4322:

It's completely anti-fan. I get starting games at 7PM local time and accommodating the local fans, but in this case

1. There are no fans coming to the game, so it's not like they're waiting for people to finish work.

2. The game will finish around 2AM Eastern. You lose a lot of fans who are just not staying up to watch the whole thing.

Zero justification for starting at 8PM Vancouver time and 11PM Eastern. Again, it just tells the fans, we don't care about you.

Yup. No reason for any game to start later then 7 their time during this pandemic. Brutal scheduling by the League. It's not like these arenas have other bookings to consider. Even that recent 9 start in Winnipeg didn't make much sense, and there's more of those coming up.. It's especially a joke on weekdays when most people need to get up early for work the next day. What's even worse is that we need to play the next day after travel with less then 20 hours between games. This fan won't be watching tomorrow.

I will be watching, 2:00am is my normal bedtime anyway 😆! Hope it doesn't go much beyond that though cause I have to work at 7:00am.

Hey, great to someone posting, instead of posting to myself. :D

I’d like to think this game is won by the Habs in the first period with a healthy margin however with Chiarot on our #1 pairing, I’ll be tossing and turning!

So, you'll be in bed watching? :P

Looking forward to when this changes.  Maybe? Possibly? One day? Bueller? Bueller?

Unfortunately, DD has now had ample time to fix the D issues so he either 1. doesn't see the same issues or 2. doesn't feel like Romanov is better\ready to ply higher in the lineup. I tend to hope\think it is the latter.

You are likely right - perhaps he does not want to undermine Romanov's confidence by pushing up to #1 pairing and the increased competition that brings. We may have to be patient for that, even though we all may feel Romy's ready or it can't get much worse. In my zeal to fix Chiarot, I had not really thought of that perspective so thanks on that.

Yeah thats the only conclusion ive been drawing for a while.    I think the ultimate goal is to have Romanov next to Weber but they dont want to use a guy like Kulak as a placeholder and they dont think Romanov is ready yet.  still, it would be nice to try a few shifts here or there to see.

The only other option is that, since Richardson is in charge of the defense, he has asked DD to give him a little slack & he is doing this out of a courtesy. I have a hard time believing that DD, who has clearly seen pretty much every other problem with this roster, has not seen the glaring one on defense.  I mean even the unorthodox way we played OT the other day was built by clearly identifying our issues and trying to work around it. There's no way DD cant see that Chairot-Weber is a problem.  I can excuse them the Edmundson in the top 4 miscue simply because the pairing has been so effective (largely due to Petry's best season so far!) but there's absolutely no excuse as to why Chairot is still up on that top pair.

Critical game tonight. We need to walk out of there with points because tomorrow nights game is almost a guaranteed loss, facing a well rested and super motivated team with a new coach. Third road game in 4 nights for us tomorrow with less the 20 hours between games and travel included. They'll be skating on adrenaline only, The only thing that might save us is a hot Allen playing the game of his life.
