Until further notice, it is.

Ah ok cool. Hopefully we'll get some clarity today.

Assuming the second player (between KK and Armia) didnt end up testing positive, then only the one who did will be out, the other will be allowed to play after 4 negative tests.

I hope Kotkaniemi plays!

For sure!  Sounds like Armia was the guy with Covid & JK was just quarantining because of contact.   JK is no longer on the Covid list (Just Armia & Staal)

Apparently Toffoli is still doubtful for this week.

Just saw the practice lines and KK was practicing so it was Armia. We can afford Armia to be down for a while but IMO not KK - Toffoli still did not practice

  • H_T_L changed the title to Mar. 30, Edmonton @ Montreal, 7 PM, est.

Habs practiced some 3 on 3, prolly ended in a SO.

Habs lines from tonight's practice:

Canadiens lines:

Tatar-Danault-Gallagher

Drouin-Suzuki-Anderson

Byron-Kotkaniemi-Lehkonen

Frolik-Evans-Dauphin

Perry joined practice late.

Absent: Toffoli, Armia

Dominique Ducharme says Tyler Toffoli is getting better and better and might be on the ice tomorrow, but won't be playing VS the Oilers.

Dominique Ducharme confirms Michael Frolik should be making his Canadiens debut tomorrow night.

Just to be certain. Staal is on the COVID list just because he was coming from the United States, right? Not because he was tested positive or a close contact of someone who had tested positive, right?

That's right. He has to quarantine for 7 but he remains on the list for 14 days. He can play and practice after 7 assuming all his tests are negative up to that point.

I'm going to guess Evans will be the one who sits?

Hrm. im not sure.  Lines at practice were

Tatar-Danault-Gallagher

Drouin-Suzuki-Anderson

Byron-Kotkaniemi-Lehkonen

Frolik-Evans-Dauphin

If Perry plays I think he takes Dauphin's place.   Im pretty sure Evans will still be in.

Here is a Tweet from Engels confirming that KK was a close contact with Armia.

GOOD NEWS everyone! My 11 year old son says Montreal will have 15 goals in the first period, and tonight is the night they turn their season around with a string of wins. LOL IF we get 15 goals in the first period I will eat my hat.

Heck, if we scored 15 goals in the 1st period, I'll fly him to Disneyland 1st class.
