It would be great to start a run of a few wins against the leaf's! Isn't the "chosen one" McChicken of Edmonton?

HABS win this 4-3 Caulfield gets his fist Tatar , Petry and JK!!       GO HABS GO!!!!

Nope, not according to TSN and SN.

The chosen one

The one and only

Walks on water

Gods gift to hockey

His crap don't smell

You know what I like about hockey? Women have chosen to take up 3/4 of the year and leave us menfolk 1 season to prefer. Free and clear. Eyes wide open.

Would be a good time to start playing well.

As BigTed has said in a couple of threads, if we dont get some momentum going, the playoffs wont be pretty.  If we can go into the postseason on a good winning streak then who knows...

90% chance we play these guys in the first round so lets hammer them.

I am not sure about that line of Toffoli-Suzuki-Caufield they likely are very good together but I worry about the Leafs taking liberties at each of those 3 because there is no one to step up and make them accountable for it on that line, our D is going to have to step up if the situation arises. I would rather split them up and run something like:

Toffoli-Danault-Armia

Lehkonen-Suzuki-Anderson

Perry-Kotkaniemi-Caufield

Staal-Evans-Frolik

That said I think that line of Toffoli-Suzuki-Caufield will be extremely dangerous scoring wise lol.

If you told me we would have Price, Gallagher, Drouin and Byron out last year id think we'd be done but the depth is coming in handy for sure.  Kinda shocked Merrill is out after being arguably our best dman last game...

Ideally id rather see:

Toffoli - Suzuki - Caufield
Perry  - Kotkaniemi - Anderson
Lehkonen - Danault - Armia
Staal - Evans - Frolik

Kulak -Petry
Merrill-Weber
Chiarot -Romanov

We have 4 games left against Toronto... so it's actually possible if we win them all that Edm or Wpg passes Tor for 1st. But on the other hand, if we win them all, we might knock Tor down to 2nd and climb up to 3rd. Much more likely that we don't win them all, in which case, yes, we almost assuredly get them in Round 1 (assuming we make it). It's certainly been a while since we had a Tor-Mtl playoff series...

Alexander Romanov was the QB on the

2nd PP unit this morning.

Ducharme says there's uncertainty regarding Tatar and Byron for tonight's game. Can't answer right now on their status.

If we're going to play the speculation game,,, if we win tonight and the Jets lose to the 0ilers, we move to within 4 points with a game in hand. Our next game is vs the Jets. If we win that one, we get within 2 with a game in hand. Third is still a possibility. Not great odds but something to play for.
