Especially nice to see DD start the OT with Suzuki-Toffoli and then to give Evans-Caufield a chance when they have both played so well the past few games. Don't know why Danault was out there in between, he was useless again tonight.

What an amazing game!!! I wasn't able to be online but man what a comeback! Cole comes up HUGE with his first! I was yelling at Petry like 3 seconds before the goal too pass it to Cole because he almost turned the puck over when he circled to center ice. Now I am glad he didn't hear me LOL

And Habs happened to play two decent games with strong possession numbers without Weber. And against two teams they've struggled with this season to boot. Again, I'll come back to it being much better with a puck-moving D on each pairing. Chiarot has looked a lot better next to Romanov than playing with Shea. Starting to wonder if it was Weber holding Chiarot back instead of the other way around.

When Danault was out there they never turned the puck over and Anderson had a couple of chances to end it. We were going for the win, at least Merrill, Perry, Staal and Frolik never touched the ice in OT

If it turns out that Webber has really been hurt for a while like some reports in the past mentioned then what the heck was he doing on the ice! we have so many NHL level Dmen there is no excuse!

Yes, obviously Danault is better than those guys, but he was less deserving than Kotkaniemi, Caufield, Evans, and Armia. Maybe even Lehkonen, who's been playing better than Danault of late. Danault has had trouble finishing most of the year including tonight. He took a bad penalty while on offence. There was no reason to reward him with the 2nd OT shift.

Weber was apparently hurt since Edmonton, so maybe 4-5 games. Doesn't explain the rest of his season. That said, agreed that he's no better hurt than Edmundson/Chiarot/Kulak/Romanov at full strength. I can live without Merrill and Gustafsson, don't find they've added anything to our team.

My hope would be they put Kulak with Weber with reduced minutes for the rest of the year and keep Romanov and Chiarot together.
