Is price starting ?

Allen I believe is the confirmed starter.  Price, if everything goes well, should be practicing this week but i think the best we can hope for is a few games to end the season.

Locking up a playoff spot early would be nice to make these few games meaningless would be awesome to take some of the pressure off winning so he can just focus on getting back into game shape for the playoffs.

I personally would prefer to face these guys in the 1st round. If we're to advance out of the North division we'll need to take these guys out regardless, so IMO better to face them when we're fresh then after a round with the OIlers.  I don't think these 3 remaining regular season games have much weight as to what to expect in the playoffs.

Yeah, it's a toss up either way.  Maybe the Laffs lose or get beat up by Jets. If we sneak by Edmonton,  then we play a tired team. If,  one of our goalies get hot, who knows what could happen. Thinking,  the further we go, the better our chances. Hopefully,  they will deploy the players the right way,  and we don't see Staal, or Gustafsson, or anyone not performing.

Agree.  We should be healthier to start the Playoffs and considering the quality and quantity of players we have injured, getting a few of them back should make the team better.

I also feel like the Leafs still have confidence issues in the playoffs.  Last year they lost to columbus in the bubble.  In 2019, 2018 and 2017 they lost in the first round.  2016-2014 they missed the playoffs.  2013 they lost in the first round.  The 7 years before that they missed the playoffs.  So in the last 15 years they've missed the playoffs 11 times and lost in the 1st round the other 4.

If we draw them in the first round & win, I think we can beat Winnipeg or Edmonton in the 2nd.  If, on the other hand we draw the oil & the jets play the leafs and lose, then i think they (the leafs) will be a lot harder to beat in that 2nd round.  Confidence is huge & the more you can keep reminding them how badly they do in the post season, the more of an advantage that you have.
