Big shortage of crow in Toronto this morning. Not a single one gave us any chance,, much less this going to 7 games. Don't hold your breath. It's obvious to this coaching staff that Gus, Kulak and Merrill are much better bench warmers. At this point i'd be leery about playing a kid in a game 7 after almost 3 weeks off. They've made their bed and have to live with it now.

I concur, despite the fact that Romanov has to be hungry with fresh legs and energy, it would make too much sense. I sense Staal plays even thought I think I would prefer Byron Evans and Lehkonen if the latter is healthy.

Considering we are pushing this to a game 7 is this series now considered a win for us regardless of outcome???

What we've done is brought the organization back to reality (fans included). They won't be as quick to dismiss other opponents should they get by us,,, or proclaim their own greatness. A little humble pie.

Now if we win this round,,,, all hell will break out and i'll be one happy camper.

If we manage to squeak out a win tonight (and I'm not holding my breathe based on how tired our D will be), you have to think Matthews and Marner are going to be dragged through the mud in the Toronto media for being chokers and unable to rise to the occasion in the playoffs. Nylander has played well for them, but Matthews and Marner have under-performed relative to their regular seasons. We and Toronto are both going back into a much tougher division next year, so you'd have to think if they couldn't get it done this year that they'll have to re-think their master plan going forward.

So the government has caved in s as bd will allow 500 or so fully vaccinated health care workers attend tonight’s game . I think it’s great that it’s the health care workers but I think it’s B.S that you have businesses that have been closed for 7 months and the government won’t ease the restrictions and allow them to open up. The leafs are in a do or die game 7 , Habs had fans last game   So this is some last ditch effort to help the leafs . If your going to allow fans then open up businesses

Leafs fans were allowed to purchase tickets for the last game, so they need to at least invite a few front line workers from the province of Quebec as well. I'm outraged, this is turning into a political issue!! Joking of course, good for them to be allowed in the arena.

It’s not fair to them that suddenly fans are allowed in to a non essential even to support the leafs ( as Doug Ford himself said on Instagram ) . This is political . And tomorrow everything here will still be locked down.

I hear ya, no doubt it's unfair to business owners and it probably is a desperate move to give the Leafs some sort of advantage. At the very least it's easy pep talk material for Keefe to rally the troops around (e.g. 'show up for the healthcare workers in attendance, they've been saving lives for months' etc.). Still though, chances are these people have been working their behinds off indeed, so I'm a bit on the fence about the whole thing.

Yeah,,,, my business is one of those still shut down and i find it pretty disrespectful on the part of the Ontario government. The politics of this move is pretty hypocritical IMO. It's no different then politicians imposing rules that they personally don't follow. If they want to reward front line workers then give them raises. I'd be willing to bet that on reflection most of those workers would refuse when they themselves begged the public to follow all guidelines out of respect for their efforts.

I feel for you man. My deepest sympathy in this regard. 

And it’s why Ford just continues to cut his own throat

 this move just cost him a million votes. Watch. People are tired of incompetence. But they tolerate it unfortunately. Because it’s expected. They are less welcoming g in this day and age of hypocrisy. The value judgemental, both the knowing and the ignorant zombies do not like hypocrisy.

I did not vote for him but initially thought he did a decent job and looked like he truly cared,,,, so much so that at the time i would have given him my support. This just ends it for me now. Spoke to my daughter this morning who is a PSW in an LTC facility and she's disgusted that any health care worker would flaunt the rules in place while asking the public to follow them. She is fully vaccinated and still needs to be tested daily before entering the building. Her nasal tissue is so scarred it might never be the same.

Have to agree!!! This BS!!! I cannot cross the border and not have quarantine when I return why in hell should the NHL teams? If this does get approved there will a major outcry I am sure. Next will be the Blue Jays! These teams can cross with no quarantine but the retailers have to remain closed until Jun15th?  The fact that health care workers would go and flaunt the fact that they are there is concerning. They know what they have been through and to accept this while people are still on respirators and dying is not right! I am not saying they should not be rewarded but the timing here is wrong!

Ford is insane and will do whatever he has to to retain votes. Well mine will not be one of them for sure. Does this rule if approved apply to all millionaires who do not play hockey?
