I know that Vegas has looked very good for stretches but so far they have scored 6 goals and I would say 4 of them have been fluky. Dont get me wrong, this is a team that makes their own luck - they are relentless and they push hard - but I also think if we get the bounces for a change, we will be competitive. I know the guys know what they need to do & im sure the assistants will have a good handle on things but having him there for changes on the fly would be good. They were in a bubble and flew back on a private plane... if he got it... makes me really concerned someone else might too... I know they are all vaccinated but... I know they are all vaccinated but... They all did receive their 2nd shots but it was less then 2 weeks ago i believe,,,, so there is still risk. Unfortunately the bubble didn't protect them from 17000 screaming fans at an indoor setting. If he is positive it's likely he'll have no symptoms to mild ones ( i would hope). A lot of the other American teams with fans didn't open the sections directly behind the players benches. Not the case in Vegas with their full house. The reports are that "The Canadiens say Ducharme will undergo further tests before the game." so I guess that means he may still be available - they are just trying to determine if the test as an outlier - a false positive and there's nothing to worry about etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have to wait and see if anyone else turns positive over next few days, this could really derail the playoffs and our chances going forward. Bouchard has also been with the team (working with the extras) so I wonder if he will be behind the bench tonight. Lets hope no one else tests positive. And yeah this is pretty frustrating & exactly why there shouldnt be fans in the seats right now (other than how they've done it, intelligently, in some buildings. If no one else tests positive the game is expected to go on (Renaud Lavoie) Dominique Ducharme on the @GoldenKnights not getting one minor penalty: « they were clean last night. So he could theoretically be back around Jun 26 or 27. Game 7 would be scheduled for Jun 26th. Bouchard reportedly left the bubble after the Winnipeg series, so he's also not a short-term option.
