I don't "too"predictiions" but I'm going with Habs in 6.

This is for all the marbles.

Do or die.

Go big or go home.

Don't bring a knife to a gun-fight.

We can do this!!!!!!!

Sounds like it'll be O'Rourke and Charron tonight. So O'Rourke didn't get canned for his pathetic performance in the ECF. Let's hope at least Lee did. Can live with some combination of Sutherland, McCauley, St-Laurent for the other pairing, NHL hasn't yet announced who the 4 finals officials will be though. My guess is Sutherland and Furlatt get the nod.

Per Elliot Friedman , per luke Richardson . Joel armia is out of coivid protocol , on a private jet en route to Tampa . Game time decision on if he will play

Good on Molson for putting up the coin to get him in there.    I was pretty sure this was going to be the result - i spoke with a dr friend & he said that once you have had the virus the chance at a false positive, especially if you are getting tested as often as these players, is very high from time to time.

I am going to say Habs in 5.    Not that i think TB wont be a force but i think we will 1 (or 2) of the games in Tampa & then come back to the Bell centre & win both.   I believe we will wrap it up in game 5 in Florida.

I am just not that optimistic.    The only reason we are where we are is Carey Price.   For TB they have a goalie with the same stat line, so the difficulty we have scoring just got even worse.

Despite the big 4 D playing exceptional, they're still making mistakes and TB is a team that will bury those mistakes.  I think we push them to 6 games, but not convinced we win the cup.

No question Price has been excellent but this is not 2010 with Halak putting a team on his back.  Aside from that one game in the LV series, how many of the 12 wins has price actually "stolen?"   Dont get me wrong, he's our best player, he's our Conn Smythe nominee for sure, but i think this team is a lot more than Price. I agree that the team is still making mistakes but in the same way LV wasnt able to capitalize on them, I dont think TB will either.  The thing is, the team is making "smart" mistakes.  Its remarkable how much better our puck control has been since the regular season. Its like a different team. So most mistakes end up with the puck more or less out of harms way.  I mean LV scored nearly 1/2 their goals on their set defensive zone faceoffs.  Take those out & they barely scored on any 'mistakes.'  A couple of softish goals by price and that horrific play by staal. lol.

We match up better against TB than a lot of people might think.  Fairly well even.  Sure we dont have a Kucherov (although we dont know how effective he'll be) and we dont have a Point or a Hedman but what we lack in the top end, I believe we will make up for in the lower half of the roster.   Obviously Danault's line is going to have to be huge for us again.

Obviously we're going to need some bounces but i think this team can beat the Bolts and I think ultimately they will.

What's even bolder is PuckPundit has picked Tampa in 6. He's actually predicting we'll win a couple.

I thought last round was the "end of the line" after the "its over" 2nd round and the "trust me, they don't stand a chance" first round?? :4224:

I agree with this. price is not scoring goals so it is not all on him. He has been world class and with the stakes being what they are I expect the same. our lineup is well balanced and if everyone keeps playing at this level we won't be easy to beat. I expect we may get lit up once or twice until the guy's figure out how to shut them down but there is no reason to expect Tampa to steamroll over us.
