Therrien basically gave a giant finger to fan entertainment just for his own ego so he could try to prove to everyone that he was the boss and made the decisions.

C'mon man, he was just trying to make them better people.

You wish 🤣😂

maybe he’s the chosen one today

Seems like it, I was out and only seen the Twitter headline that said Armia addressing media live now LOL. Seemed like a last minute rushed thing, like he had some form of formal announcement to make. Alas it was just a game day media availability thing. On a side note he will be on a line with Zuke and Caufield tonight. Can't get used to the Habs making all players available instead of just the stars as was typical in the past lol.

As bad as this team has been and has looked, one thing to remember is that we're currently on pace for a historical season in terms of injuries.

The LA Kings hold he record for most "man-games lost to injury" with 629 games (2003-04)

We currently sit at 603 with 14 games left to go.  I  dont think there's any way we dont break that record (Weber alone will bring that number to 617 and we still have Price, Gallagher, Drouin, Clague, Petry, Pezzetta and Poehling out for undetermined amounts of time.

Meanwhile I think Calgary has something like 60 man games lost to injury this year!

I don't think we're as bad a team as this season's record. We're lacking in some key areas (DEFENSE, obvs), but I think Hughes and Gorton can probably turn this around in a few seasons. Injuries haven't helped.

With some good drafting and development, a trade or two, a free agent signing... I can see us being back on track to compete for a playoff spot in 2023-24.

Cole Caufield named NHL 'Rookie of the Month' for March.  Caufield is the first Montreal player to earn the honor since Carey Price in March 2008.

Kind of sums up our prospects development in a nutshell.

BTW, he just beat out Rem Pitlick.

Stephane Leroux, who tracks the QMJHL for RDS, reporting that when Mike Hoffman was in junior, he was viewed as a bad teammate and the team leaders with the Gatineay team (a certain Paul Byron and a certain Claude Giroux) went to the coach and asked him to get rid of Hoffman, who was subsequently put on waivers. Leroux says the same thing happened with Hoffman in the OHL before he came to Gatineau: he was put on waivers by his OHL team because he was deemed a problem, and no other team claimed him, hence why he ended up in the Q to begin with. Leroux gave this information in response to a question about whether the Habs might try to bring Giroux here next year.

Seems like Hoffman has a reputation of being a bad teammates in multiple places then... OHL, Gatineau, Ottawa as a pro... seems like he's more of a problem than an asset.

Seems like Hoffman might not be around too much longer.

The unconfirmed feud was the girlfriend / wife with Karlson's wife

Well it was pretty much confirmed. Karlsson's wife had a restraining order placed on Hoffman's girlfriend, which means the police saw due cause for doing so. And the Sens ended up getting rid of both Hoffman and Karlsson and breaking up their team because of it.

But Marc Bergevin only signs players with good "character."

Andrew Molson will be photoshopped between St-Louis and Price.

Drouin will be photoshopped in (likely beside Anderson in the second row).

Weber was not in the season-opening team photo and will not be added to this one.

I like that Caufield kept asking for a stool but they wouldn't give him one. :P

Didn't help him any that they planted him between two twin towers to boot.

I mean Savard is only 6'1". Gallagher and Byron were on the bench as lettered players. So not too many guy all that close to Caufield in height.
