We have no idea what the team is looking for / asking of the players either. A guy could have come to camp with a slight groin tweak but wanting to play some minutes so he can work through it & get his skating going etc. Players may be asked to let their rookie linemates carry the puck etc etc. I wouldnt put ANY stock in the preseason games, although they are fun to watch to see the guys back on the ice!
