So. We presently have the following on IR:

Jonathan Drouin
Christian Dvorak
Ben Chiarot
David Savard
Joel Edmundson
Jake Allen
Mathieu Perreault
Michael McNiven

I understand that Chiarot is expected back in a week. Do we have any expected timelines for Drouin, Dvorak, and Allen?

It's looking like Joel Edmundson & Mathieu Perreault are back skating again.

Defenseman Joel Edmundson skated on his own before practice, while Joel Armia jumped on in the afternoon.  The team announced after the skate that a more detailed medical update will be provided on Friday regarding several players, including goaltender Carey Price.

Mathieu Perreault was once again on the ice with his teammates on Wednesday, and he is now being evaluated on a day-to-day basis.

Ship him to Robidas Island

Haven't seen anything yet. Looks like Byron's may be more severe.

Nothing definite yet, listening to TSN for an update.

I suspect Byron has at least a broken nose. Anderson could be a jaw or cheek bone from what the coaches seemed to be indicating on the bench when they talked to Marty. They were both released from hospital,, so that's somewhat promising at least.

Jonathan Drouin is also making progress in recovering from an upper-body injury but isn't ready to get back in the lineup so the new dad won't be travelling to Ottawa with the Habs for Saturday night's game against the Senators.

Any updates on last nights injuries??

Friday brought good news for the Canadiens and Josh Anderson. The forward was able to participate in a full team practice and the team says he should be in the lineup against Ottawa Saturday.  Paul Byron will continue to be sidelined with an upper-body injury. He is making progress but the team has no timetable for his return.

Joel Edmundson is also progressing towards a return to the lineup but is still not ready for game action. The defenseman was able to participate in practice, without contact. Edmundson will travel to Ottawa with the team but won't play.
