If I had known, I could have watcthed it on TV. :6351:

Joel Teasdale has yet to play a game this season but that appears about to change. He was moved from the Canadiens Season Opening Injured Reserve on Friday and sent to the Laval Rocket.  The Laval Rocket tweeted out earlier today that Teasdale was officially cleared to return to play. His head coach, J.F. Houle stated this weekend that he was about 95% sure that Teasdale would be in the lineup when the Rocket play their next game. This bit of news seems to ensure that is even closer to 100%.  The Rocket next play on Friday night in Texas against the Stars. With all of the injuries and Covid cases the organization has dealt with in recent weeks, any healthy player would be appreciated.

But Teasdale isn’t just any player as he showed he was one of the best offensive players on the Rocket team last season. It will be exciting to see what he can do this season after a delayed start to his season.

Looks like Arber Xhekaj is suspended again. And as before, no information as to why.

Well, finally some information.  Looks like the kinda guy we need on our team.  A player that can skate well, and stands up for his teammates. Yes.  He gets suspended a lot,  but the antagonist pays the price. This time,  the player in question was harassing a couple of Xhekaj's teammates earlier, looking for a confrontation.  Xhekaj gave it to him. It wasn't pretty.

This isn’t the first time Xhekaj has performed this manoeuvre on an OHL player after the whistle. No matter which way you cut it, headlocking a player to the ice then punching him repeatedly in the head once he’s down will not fly at any level. It’s an objectively dangerous play with a high risk of severe injury.

The repeat offender tag has cost Xhekaj two games for this incident, and he is set to return to play on Saturday, January 29 against the Niagara IceDogs. At this point, we can effectively expect this kind of play from Xhekaj to keep happening at the pro level, as the need to prove himself becomes more and more prevalent with each step upward.

Some players to keep an eye on. Xhekaj has been doing quite well, when he's not suspended.  But give him credit, he's a team player, if he was on the Habs when Montembeault got ran by Kassian, Xhekaj  would have been in Zack's face big time!

Mysak is showing some progression vs. his draft year - likely to just be a depth piece but should be better than Dauphin or Dea

Pretty cool that Joshua Roy is leading the Q in points. Simoneau right behind him tied for second in league scoring. Riley Kidney 9th.

I really liked what he showed at last year's camp.  5th round pick, still 18 till August... this guy could be a steal.

Joshua Roy,  power forward in the making, with better upside than Josh Anderson. Excellent shooter.

Anybody know what happened to Matthias Norlinder? For a guy that wanted to go back to Sweden and develop there, he has played 9 games for Frolunda and not registered a single point.

That doesn't sound very good. I have no idea about Norlinder, Frolunda, or the SHL, but would've expected him to have registered some points.
