BigTed3
It's looking like it might be a high-scoring affair. My guess is Habs 5 Leafs 4.

Well we have some nice offensive weapons but a brutal bottom 2/3 of our D corps. So it looks like both teams will be getting their chances. maas_art
Today's lines: Toffoli-Suzuki-Caufield Drouin-Dvorak-Anderson Armia-Evans-Gallagher Perreault-Paquette-Lehkonen Kulak-Petry Chiarot-Savard Romanov-Wideman Interesting that Kulak jumps back up next to Petry (where he hasnt been all preseason) and Romanov drops back to Wideman's side. Will be interesting to see if they stick with this. Top 9 looks good. Top pair should be ok. 4th line is a bit of a mess but as long as they can eat minutes and not bleed chances, I think they should be ok. 2nd pair worries me a lot. Pretty much on the same page as you. Chiarot-Savard is a disaster in the making and everyone in the media seems to see it, but Ducharme does not. Ducharme actually stated that he planned on using his bottom pairing as he did in the playoffs, meaning that Romanov and Wideman might get thrown into the mix with other members of the top 4 as opposed to together all the time, but that still means we're seeing a lot of Chiarot and Savard, and that's a huge problem in itself. It sounds like we might see a rotation along the lines of Kulak-Petry Chiarot-Savard Romanov-Petry Chiarot-Wideman ... repeat more or less with maybe a bit of Romanov-Savard or Romanov-Wideman thrown in too. As for the 4th line, I've said it before, but I don't love the combination of skillsets. I don't feel like that line has a specific identity the way Perry-Staal-Armia or Lehkonen-Evans-Byron did. I guess we'll see if they build something. Would have preferred to see Lehks back with Evans on a shutdown/forechecking line and Armia on the energy line instead. HabsRuleForever
I see the league still loves the Laffs. This game should have been played in the Champions of the North arena. But what’s new lol.

Now you have Petry healthy, yes, but those other 2 are replaced by what, Savard and ? I really hope they figure something out before this becomes ugly.
