Nik Ehlers joined the Jets for an optional practice Monday wearing a non-contact jersey. The forward has been out of the lineup since January 18th after a knee on knee hit against the Capitals. It was Ehlers first time back on the ice with the team but there is still no timeline on his return to the lineup. Well, that would be good for us. Also, we don't have Tofu anymore, so we'll have to get others to pick up the slack. We can actually win this game as well!

Why is this Dauphin guy still in the lineup?

its almost like they are using him as a placeholder for Dvorak. Rather than push Evans and Poehling up, he takes DVo's spot.
Frankly, id rather see Pitlick in that spot (Centre) but it seems like the team sees him as a winger.
