Kent Johnson makes his debut tonight with Columbus.

From our end, disappointed we sent Ylonen down after only playing him essentially on the 4th line for most of his short stint. Do we really need to see more of Tyler Pitlick? Or Hoffman for that matter.

Guessing they could have done without the baton guy tonight.

Couldn'ty figure him out either.

I'm thinking,  if we can move out some players this Summer,  Ylonen gets a long look next year. They know what he can bring, and probably want to see how he does in a playoff race,  and the playoffs,  for Laval. Hope he steps it up. Like RHP is doing now for Laval.

Gaunce runs into Montembeault hard and two things:

1. No penalty

2. Savard does nothing, the same way Petry did nothing earlier in the season. Petry was run through the coals for that response. Haven't seen a peep out of anyone on social media about Savard though. Double standard there.

But why not give him experience in the NHL this year? He was playing relatively well here already. And why not give him a look on a scoring line when the games don't matter? This type of thing makes no sense. There is zero advantage to playing Tyler Pitlick. He isn't likely to be here next year and if he is, he isn't likely to be a key part of the team. We aren't trying to boost his trade value either. There's not really a reason to play him frankly when you can use these games to evaluate and develop for the future.

Imagine if we recalled Xavier Ouellet and played him in place of Harris or Schueneman. No advantage to that move either.
