Nick Suzuki (lower-body) is skating again and continuing his rehab. He’s expected to return in one week.

Joel Edmundson’s (lower back) rehab is progressing, but he remains sidelined indefinitely.

Per the team's twitter page.

I thought i read somewhere that Edmundson's injury was not back related. Are we getting conflicting messaging again? Original report was LB i thought.

You did, early reports were LBI not lower back related. I do not know when they admitted to it being his back again.

Leg bone connected to the hip bone - hip bone connected to the back bone - lol...

Yeah im not sure to be honest.  I think everyone seems to agree it was the contact between suzuki and Edmundson but some reports saying the lower back was affected & others are saying it was something different.

Same here, I’ve read some reports saying he’ll be out for a long time and it’s his back however others that say it’s just a LBI.

well ..I hurt my back a little today....But with the proper rest and rehab I should be ready for the start of regular season.....but if any of the press asks, lets just keep them guessing and call it an UBI...

OMFG are you serious?! I thought these guys were supposed to be tough! Apparently the UBI that had Josh Anderson (Powerhorse) out since the beginning of training camp was a BUG BITE on his finger!!! Seriously a bug bite!!! This is supposed to be our power forward and a bugbite sidelines him!!! Sure it got infected but it was still a freaking bug bite, what happened to the days when player played through ruptured spleen (Peter Forsberg) appendicitis (Patrick Roy) and broken bones (numerous players)?! Now they can't even play through bug bites!! I thought this was the NHL not soccer!!

Dude it is training camp! he is a veteran why bother risking anything. Pretty sure Forsberg di not do training camp with a ruptured spleen.

Who cares if it's training camp, it is his job to be there. Do I get to call in for a week cause I got a bug bite?! No, I would not only be fired but laughed out of the building. It was a freaking bug bite not a venomous snake bite. Next we are going to have guys leaving practices for ingrown hairs, or cause they swallowed a fly. What a joke of an excuse that is "it's training camp! He is a veteran why bother risking anything". What was he risking? He wasn't going to die from it, he wasn't going to be hospitalized. He is a veteran and needs to lead by example not punk out cause he got a freaking bug bite.

To be fair, I had an infected bug bite on my elbow when I was in my mid-20s... I could barely move my arm.
