If the "masses" were truly Habs fans, they would have the sked in the favs, and know where, when, and times. :6396:

Ya know, I've been a Habs fan since '59. I've listened to Habs games in French, (even tho I know only hockey French)., watched in French, and have done whatever it takes to listen/watch the Habs. I just figured that every other Habs fan would do the same. Both of my wives have tolerated my addiction.

Maybe we thought we could rely on you.

See my lower post. :P

I mean that I'm sure all of the posters in the GDT, know (and don't have to be told) when the Habs are playing. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll try to be more explicit next time. :)

Me too!  Maybe not since 1959, but I remember listening to the Habs games in french, on a transistor radio (that only had am) under my pillow, so my parents didn't notice. Man it was so exciting to listen to them back then. And Saturday nights, on the big screen 24" B&W TV.  Ahhhhhh................good times!

The 1948 RCAF Flyers may be my all time favourite hockey team but the Habs are a close second and I do try to watch or listen to every game I can.  However, I have screwed up time changes in the past................lots of memories..........Gerry McNeil's 2 shut-outs after replacing Plante, Harvey's own goal the next year but they misspelled Leswick on the Cup :4322:  five in the fifties, five in the sixties, six in the seventies, one in the eighties, one in the nineties and the rest don't score. :(  Now I am told to wait for some magical window in the future but I will still watch until I don't and hope the "window" will come for the youngsters on here.

Looking forward tonight to watching our young Dmen compete against Buffalo's stud Owen Power.

Btw, Slaf practicing but in a non contact Jersey.  Seems like most people think he is nursing a stiff neck/shoulder after the collision with brown.

Speaking of Slaf, The Habs were 3-2 with 14 goals scored with Slafkovsky,  and 0-2 with three goals scored  so far without him.   Total coincidence im sure but interesting stat.

Apparently tonight's top 2 lines will be:

Dach Monahan Drouin

Caufield Suzuki Hoffman

I think Dach is moving to the wing with SM at centre?   Interesting.   I assume (hope) they are just try to get Hoffman going so they can showcase him?

I saw some reporters list Dach as the center and others Monahan. I don't know that it matters because both guys have said in the past that when they play together, they each take the faceoffs on their strong side only, so essentially they split the center duties.

Montembeault also confirmed as the starter tonight.

I was thinking that too! lol. He is a power forward and he has a ton of energy kind of the anti Drouin......
