You picked TIE in the Predictions CHallenge

Yes I did, that is for points this is for fun lol. I stand a better chance of gaining points based off the last game between them for predicting a tie in the Predictions Challenge than going off the board and predicting a Habs win. Here it doesn't matter lol

havent seen it confirmed but it looks like they are going with:

Drouin-Monahan-Armia

Pitlick-Evans-Slaf

Personally I'd swap Armia & Slaf but otherwise i dont mind it too much at all.

That would work,  but maybe they want to see a little more puck possession & zone entries by Slaf,  with it being hopefully easier vs 4rth line competition.  I also expect to see Slaf on a PP or 2. Easier when on 4rth line, as the other 2 play SH @ times.

Yeah i think its the matchups more than anything right now.  MSL also made an interesting comment yesterday where he was talking about duos - like he really likes CC/Suzuki and Dvorak-Gallagher etc.  He thinks the 3rd guy on that line is less important & mostly is there to "compliment" those 2 other guys.   Thats an interesting take & makes you wonder if MSL is thinking a guy like Dach/Monahan is the better choice for Slaf's centre (not yet but soon).

Really interesting to watch how marty thinks.  Definitely a different approach than we've seen for a long time.
