Avs aren't doing that much better than we are, they have basically no 2C anymore and their goalie situation is similar to ours. I can see them missing the playoffs if they don't soon find a viable 2C

I was just looking at that they only have two more wins than we do! crazy!

The Avs have also had huge injury problems with their key players...

- Landeskog has missed the entire season to date

- Mackinnon has been out the past 2 weeks and counting

- Nichushkin has missed more than half the season

- Byram has missed more than half the season

- Manson has been out for 9-10 games

- Girard missed time. Lehkonen missed a few games. Toews missed a couple.

I know every team has injuries, but this would be like us losing Monahan for the season so far and then having key longterm injuries to Suzuki, Dach, Harris, and Kovacevic... all I'm saying is that I expect the Avs to be better than their current record in the long run.

Oh I agree it is just funny that when we have injuries we don't cut our team too much slack......Look at last season!

My point wasn't that they weren't a better team long-term it was that right now we have pretty similar records so this one might not be as tough as it would in February or March.

Very true might be a rare opportunity to take advantage of. I'm sure with the number of injuries they have they will be fine when they get players back.
